Russian antitrust director says Domodedovo’s tariffs too high
MOSCOW, Mar 23 (PRIME) -- Russian airport Domodedovo has hiked its tariffs above inflation, Director of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Igor Artemyev told reporters on Wednesday.
“There is an issue with Domodedovo. The corresponding tariff there is higher than inflation. We are discussing it, of course. And of course, will not admit unjustified tariff growth,” Artemyev said.
On Monday, S7 Group owner Natalya Filyova said that after state deregulation, Domodedovo’s service fees rose 20% and she will address antimonopoly authorities to tackle the issue.
Artemyev said that the government will not reverse tariff deregulation because free tariffs create favorable conditions for investments.
Moscow’s biggest airport Sheremetyevo is out of danger of an unjustified tariff rise, he said.
